Description
Description
This 100% cotton blanket, dyed and woven with respect for the environment, is crafted in an ethical and eco-friendly manner. Its mustard color, both warm and elegant, adds a touch of character and comfort to your home, whether it’s modern or classic. Give your home a unique piece, entirely handmade by the ethnic Lao community of northern Vietnam.
Savoir-faire
Savoir-faire
This blanket is the result of ancestral craftsmanship passed down throughout multiple generations. The women cultivate the cotton in their families, sort and spin it by hand before dyeing it with local plants. They then hand-weave each piece, preserving this handmade tradition for future generations.
Impact
Impact
Sales of traditional fabrics for ceremonial clothing do not generate enough income, putting the survival of this ancestral craftsmanship at risk. By providing them with new opportunities through creations adapted to modern interiors, we support these female artisans, allowing them to preserve their heritage while ensuring a stable and sustainable income.
